• The Industry and Energy Committee is considering strengthening cooperation with National Power Academy

    On Monday 11 February 2019, Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Industry and Energy Committee that is chaired by Board Member Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Sheikh, hosted the

     National Power Academy at the headquarter of the Chamber.

    The meeting was attended by the Executive Director of the Academy Hussein bin Nabil Hanbdadah, the Director of Training and Administrative Development Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, and a number of specialists.

     

    During the meeting, a team from the Academy presented a presentation explaining their roles and services.

    The meeting reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation in serving the business sector specialized in energy and industrial field.

     

    Al-Sheikh stressed that the business sector is interacting with all parties, while serving the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in the transition to energy and renewable energy.

     

    The National Power Academy is an independent non-profit organization that was established under the patronage and partnership between several entities and companies, which is the largest locally and internationally in the energy sector and develop its human resources and manpower, most notably: Saudi Aramco, Saudi Electricity Company, The General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saline Water Conversion Corporation.

    It also has the support of the Human Resources Development Fund (HDF), in addition to a number of leading companies and colleges.​
